People that want to live their lives supported by the government without working for a living, don’t realize how close that comes to communism. Grow up, get a real job, support yourself! You get back what you put in to your life!
Haven’t seen the movie yet, but I have read the book. George Orwell was a Socialist, not a Communist sympathizer. He was enamored by the rhetoric of Marx and Lenin but appalled by hypocritical actions and lies of the Communist leadership. That’s why he wrote the book ‘Animal Farm’. It was a veiled parody of how Communist dictators (in Communism there are no elected leaders) lie to ‘the masses’ about suffering for the common good of the State while they live in luxury. Orwell wrote ‘Animal Farm’ to expose the differences between the ideals of Communism and the reality of human greed by the people in control.
