She “would like to be able to have this conversation” = I want to control the conversation with a word salad, dressing on the side. She can’t answer the question because we all know it’s impossible. All the physical adjustments (surgeries) and all the hormones are not going to change the fact that this now-mutilated biological man is still a biological man that looks strange.
