And he’s wrong, you CAN own a fully automatic weapon, if you care to go through all the background checks and pay the expensive permit fee. Tim’s right, there’s no official explanation of what an assault weapon is because the Germans invented what the dummycrats call an assault weapon in 1944 and there’s no direct translation from German to English to describe that kind of a weapon.
